Stevie Long, Certified Professional Fitness Trainer-Master Trainer, NFPT
Stevie has been a health professional for 28 years and a certified personal trainer for more than 12 years. She is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, State representative for the National Federation of Professional Trainers, and a judge on the National Physique Committee. Stevie has completed five marathons and is a Champion Natural Bodybuilding Competitor. Her knowledge of health and fitness along with her warm and caring personality make for a powerful combination. Teke Long Abshire, Certified Personal Trainer, NFPT Certified through the National Federation of Professional Trainers for the last 5 years, Teke has maintained a strong physical routine of her own for more than 10 years. In school she actively pursued many athletic sports including cross country/track, softball, cheerleading and gymnastics. Teke thrives on inspiring people of all ages to understand the importance of being healthy for themselves and their loved ones. Matthew Liller, Certified Personal Trainer, ACE: Matthew graduated from Concord University in 2007 with a degree in Health and Physical Education, playing basketball and running track during his time in the NCAA. Matthew has also achieved success in competitive bodybuilding, winning both the 2008 NABBA Mr. West Virginia contest and the 2009 NPA natural Mr. Virginia contest. With extensive experience working with clients from ages 7 to mid 60's, Matthew can help anyone achieve their goals no matter the age or experience level. David Cook, Certified Personal Trainer NFPT: David graduated from Liberty High School in 1986, and has had a keen interest in fitness since the age of 15 when his brother introduced him to the world of exercise. David always says that the main reason he became a personal trainer was to help others, and his passion for helping his clients is always apparent though his personal and professional dedication to their lives. Gordon Whitney, Certified Personal Trainer, NFPT: Gordon graduated from Roanoke College in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Sports Communication. He has been an all around athlete his entire life playing lacrosse, soccer and basketball in high school and at Roanoke College playing on the club Hockey and club Lacrosse teams along with intramural soccer, racquetball and basketball. He became very interested in weight training and exercise physiology while in college which lead him to start his career as a personal trainer with SpaFit. Whether new to fitness or a star athlete, Gordon is eager to help you build confidence and skills and teach you a lifestyle of health and wellness through fitness training.
